Avatar was based on two novels : "Siddartha" and "Steppenwolf", both written by German writer Hermann Hesse. The performance presents lots of autors' personal thoughts and experience which is common in movement theatre.
The performance is the result of laboratory work in Form Theatre. The theme of the play is an incarnation of deity in the human body. There is immemorial dilemma between human nature, their complexity and living in the harmony with ourselves. The show is also inspired by japanesse Butoh dance.
The director of Avatar tries to return to more ascetic mime art and by that shows problems of modern man inspite of worlds reality towards human nature which never changes.
