Dada von Bzdulow Theater "Magnolia"
Imagine there is a land in Central Europe.
The climate there is unpredictable and volatile. Sometimes freezing cold sometimes unbearable heat. In this land everybody lives as if waiting for something else to happen than what's happening at the moment. In this land one wishes one could keep the spirit at peace but it is either too hot or too cold. They are soaked with rain or the sun melts the brain. No wonder one from Central Europe dreams their life up, on and on from beginning.
Now, imagine that in this land, in Central Europe, not know why, here and there, Magnolia grows.
Come May and all of the sudden its twigs blossom in impressive, sweet-smelling flowers. Whenever it happens, to the one from the land in Central Europe the view of the flowers is always a true surprise. This Central-European man walks the street, absorbing the heat of the spring day and finds a real Miracle! Magnificent flowers on leafless twigs. Delight. The soul gently softens and spirit livens up. One is willing to love, to stay in endless love and cherish it forever...
No need to mention how beautiful life seems then. Everything seems somehow balanced, complete. One wishes one could live only here and now, in the land where Magnolia blossoms. Say, in two days the enthusiasm is gone. So one goes back to where the miracle came about but...In the land of Central Europe not to know why temperature fell below zero the previous night. With wishful thinking and cherished hope one goes where the Miracle came about but finds only leafless twigs and some wilted plants, wilted and withered.
It is a truly sad story.
