The play was created based on a series of novelettes entitled "The streets of crocodiles" by Bruno Schultz. He was a Polish writer and designer of jewish origin. The metaphysical and the phenomenal, deformation and sensuality, dream and consciousness are the core atributes of his creativity. All of them became the source of inspiration for me also. "The Streets of Crocodiles" is an attempt to show the man with his subconscious drives, needs and fears. The reference to the bright and gloomy side of his personality takes us into the colourful and sensual reality of the theatre.
